Photographic evidence indicates this unit was in service on the D.A.R. in 1976.
9049 arrived on the DAR sometime in December 1975 or January 1976 to replace wreck damaged 9067.[1] In February 1977, 9049 was involved in a level crossing fatality in Windsor, killing a truck driver.[2]
Became VIA No. 6124 and sold in 1998 to Cuba.
