Canadian Locomotive Works
This Kingston, Ontario company began building locomotives in 1854. It was commonly known as the Kingston Locomotive Works, although its official name changed several times until 1901 when it became the Canadian Locomotive Company. The company was one of Canada's longest lasting and most innovative builders until it closed in 1969 after building over 3000 locomotives including some of the first and last steamers on the DAR.
