The Weston Branch and Margaretville in Nova Scotia

By Elizabeth M. Clarke

A self published anecdotal and social history of the DAR's Weston Subdivision, the North Mountain Line, the author give a brief history and provides stories of travel and work along the Weston line. Apple warehouse workers and section crews are featured as well as glimpses of travel on the Weston line in the 1920s and 30s. There are a few railway photos, mostly winter scenes of snow plows and the 1923 Somerset plow wreck.
