'Canadian Pacific Railway Structure Upgrades 1912 - G.C. Hare'

After the Canadian Pacific Railway leased the Dominion Atlantic Railway in 1911, the C.P.R. embarked on a major upgrade campaign to bring the D.A.R. up to current C.P.R. standards. The CPR hired G.C. Hare, a civil engineer to lead the project.

A descendant of G.C. Hare in 2025 donated a box of 150 photos of various structures in various stages that were to be upgrade and which were upgraded to the West Hantsport Historical Society.

A complete list of structures shown in the photos is forthcoming. The list will reference pages in the Structures. Administrative and field notes will be listed here pertaining to the upgrade campaign.
