George H. Yeaton Warehouse Hantsport

Mile 38.5 on the Halifax Subdivision at Hantsport

  • Wooden construction
  • Two-story
  • 3,800 barrel capacity[1]

This warehouse was built in the 1890s, as part of George H. Yeaton's large candy factory complex which operated on Station Street from the 1890s to 1941. The apple business was evidently a sideline of the Yeaton candy business and used a warehouse that was unique on the DAR.
